What does NOVIS offer?

NOVIS realises projects in developing countries. The results of our projects are plants for economical current, heat and cooling from renewable sources.

NOVIS delivers innovative, reliable and economical solutions. As an independent project developer we examine the preconditions of the local project site and recommend the best technical process. Technological solutions for Africa have to fulfil extreme requirements: Low investment, stable in extreme climates, easy to handle and maintain by local personal, high process stability and reliable operation. Input material can be found everywhere: biological wastes, harvest wastes, spoiled food or urban waste sites provide energy.

Additionally to our engagement in Africa (Senegal, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Sierra Leone) we are also working on projects in South-Eastern Asia and South-Eastern Europe.

Our mission

Energy is the key for progress in Afrika. NOVIS builds sustainable, eco-friendly and efficient energy solutions based on (waste) biomass in Africa. Our projects range from rural electrification to power plants for industrial production sites.

We base our work on ethical and economical principles, the local culture and ways of living are integrated in our projects. All concepts are customer oriented solutions. We create sustainability as „NOVIS Energy Development Partners“.

The promotion of Renewable Energies for Africa (NEFA) needs to be further strengthened. Therefore, NOVIS is engaged in the integration of international donor countries. We participated in summit talks in New York (UN), Washington (World Bank), Brussels (EIF/EIB) and London (EBRD)

How did NOVIS arise?

NOVIS GmbH was founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of ILTIS GmbH to realise strategies and projects in the energy sector. ILTIS GmbH is a business consultancy with over 20 years of experience in strategy implementation.
